Short training videos for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families

The caring@home  Palliative Care Clinic Box contains resources designed to support one-on-one training by health professionals who are teaching a carer or family member to help manage breakthrough symptoms safely using subcutaneous medicines for a person who chooses to be cared for at home.

Health professionals can provide these videos to carers and families, where relevant, to assist in teaching them to help manage breakthrough symptoms safely using subcutaneous medicines.

* Health professionals should refer to their organisation's policy and procedure on the use of interpreters.
