Services ordering with Oracle

The South Australian Government, through the Department of Health is supporting services to access caring@home resources at a reasonable cost. Please note that the resource package is tailored for South Australia.

Please log in to your SA Health Oracle system and select from the Oracle numbers 19045345 to 19045362 inclusive. Item 19045345 is the resource package.

The South Australian version of the caring@home resource package includes:

  • Practical handbook for carers - Helping to manage breakthrough symptoms safely using subcutaneous medicines
  • Medicines diary
  • Writing a label, opening an ampoule and drawing up medicine - A step-by-step guide
  • Giving a medicine using a subcutaneous cannula - A step-by-step guide
  • Symptoms and medicines: Colour-coded fridge chart
  • One-on-one training checklist and carer post-training competency assessment
  • Information brochure for carers
  • Nurses lanyard card
  • A starter set of syringe labels (21 labels of each type)
  • Assembly guide for the practical demonstration kit
  • A caring@home carton to hold the items above.

caring@home imageEach service will need to add the following items:

  • a small sharps container
  • the practical demonstration kit (assembly instructions above)
